With extensive regulatory experience, Amin has led important projects for the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC), including serving as Safety Analysis Lead for the Small Modular Reactor (SMR) working group, ensuring stringent compliance and safety standards in Probabilistic Safety Assessment (PSA) and Deterministic Safety Analysis (DSA). His experience also includes serving as Fuel and Safety Analysis Lead at Global First Power (GFP), a startup, further demonstrating his ability to drive critical initiatives in both innovative and established nuclear technologies.
